Being near one of the main ports in northern Sulawasi, Bitung, the sea floor of the Lembeh straits was littered with trash. Underwater, the environment is covered mainly with sand, rather than the coral reefs normally associated with scuba diving. This means there's very little cover or hiding places. The fish and critters therefore learn to adapt and use what resources they have on hand.
