We were extremely lucky to see a Bobbitt worm as they are very rare. When we first arrived at Lembeh, our divemaster asked us for our "wishlist" of things to see, then proceeded to find just about everything on the list over the course of the week. Dan threw in the Bobbitt worm thinking there'd be no way we would find one and our DM warned us it was unlikely. But there it was, at the very end of an uneventful night dive, the icing on the cake for us. After that, Dan gave up trying to stump the divemasters.
