This Nudi is laying its eggs (the yellow bit coming out of one end) as its final act in this world. After mating as a pair, each hermaphroditic slug heads off in opposite directions to lay their egg coil. After the coil is finished, so is the Nudi. The coil is comprised of thousands of egg-sperm pairs in the hope that when hatched, some will survive the horrific plankton gauntlet.
