This absolutely huge (about 7 inches) nudi's size can be determined by comparing it to the juvenile ribbon eel in the foreground. I would have like to get a better shot, but my camera sprang a leak just before we found these two. It didn't do any damage, but did fog the lens. I was able to repair the seals, but the primitive conditions in Bangka were definitely taking their toll.
