Porcelain Crab

Taking pictures of these porcelain crabs is a special challenge. They're fairly shy creatures either retreating to some crevace or pulling the anemone around them like a blanket at the approach of a threat. On top of that, the current is always moving the tenticles of the anemone back and forth. As a photographer, you have to time your shot to fire at just the right moment. If it's a digital camera, you have to anticipate the 1/2 to full second lag. It mostly comes down to patience and luck.
