Sand Dollars I had seen sand dollar shells practically everywhere, but this was the first time I had ever seen a live sand dollar out of it's hiding place beneath the sand. The dive site was called "Hairball" not because of these sand dollars but because of the resident Hairy Frogfish, Hairy Scorpoinfish and Hairy Seahorses.
