Nudibranch

This is called a "solar-powered" nudibranch. These are huge 6-8 in. long, yet it is very easy to miss them underwater because they look just like a species of soft coral that they eat. We took a shot of the soft coral, but it wasn't in focus so we didn't include it. Two other divers went right over this nudi without seeing it inspite of its size (approx 6 inches). The veins clearly visible through the cerata tissue both serve and the nudi's digestive tract and imitate the veins in the soft coral perfectly.
