The wonderpus is a really striking octopus. It lives under the sand in the daytime and is rarely seen out. Its eyes are startling and they "strobe" as you can see in the movie. Our divemaster pulled this one out from under the sand so we could take a few pictures. As soon as we were done, he buried himself back under the sand in about three seconds and there was absolutely no trace of him.
