Nudibranch Eolids are a group of nudibranch with hair, or cerata. They differ from the classical nudibranch (dorids) in that they have no gills, rather they take in oxygen through the skin. Held within the cerata is the animal's digestive system; which generally requires the most oxygen. The brownish veins visible through the cerata is the Nudi's "guts." These nudis eat sea anemones, hydroids, hard and soft corals, jellyfish and Portuguese man-of-war. In other words, things that sting you. The stinging cells (nematocyst) of dinner are incorporated intact into the tips of the cerata.
