Giant Frogfish Here's an unusual sight, a frogfish free-swimming. Frogfish like to perch on things that they can disguise themselves as. Normally this is yellow, green, brown or black sponges. Black is the best because there are fewer tell-tale shadows when becomming black on black. So, mid-swim this fairly large frogfish spots a free-floating piece of what looks like black sponge. The only problem is that this free-floating black sponge can swim pretty fast. The poor frogfish had to race to catch up as the sponge appeared to swimming away.
