Pharaoh Cuttlefish

It was either a habitual cuttlefish mating grounds or mating season, but there were few dives where we didn't see cuttlefish mating behavior. Here we see the cuttlefish caught in the act. In about 15 seconds, the two will break apart and the female will scoot over to the rocks and hide fertilized eggs with great care. Then, within a minute, they will rejoin in this posture and start the whole thing over.
