Basket star
The orange and black striated tentacles belong to a basket star. The basket star has gathered the branches of a gorgonian about it for protection during the day. At night, the 8 inch ball can expand to a 3 foot diameter lacy mass. Unfortunately, when we went back at night, this one had moved on.
