Spotted Scorpionfish on the move

Scorpions are sometimes called stonefish as once perched, they never move and blend in with their surroundings perfectly. But sometimes, as here, you can catch them repositioning. They are master of camouflage, as will be seen in the next few shots. When they strike at their unsuspecting dinner, they move so fast that they make a "crack" sound in the water. He's about 12 in. long.
