Pygmy Seahorse Pygmy seahorses, in contrast to regular seahorses, are typically about 1/2 in. long. They live only in purple/pink seafans from 80-130 ft. in depth and are virtually impossible to distinguish from their host seafan without a flashlight and a magnifying glass.
